At Kubota Engine America, we’re proud to partner with many of the industry’s leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) who choose Kubota engines to power their equipment. Many of these larger OEMs with established service networks opt to service not only their machines but also the Kubota engine that powers them.

This self-service OEM model allows the OEM to integrate engine support directly into their network, giving customers one seamless service experience for the entire machine.

What is a self-service OEM?

When an OEM already has robust service centers and trained technicians, adding our engine to their scope makes sense. It simplifies maintenance and warranty handling, providing customers with consistent support under one trusted brand.

To support these OEMs, KEA partners early in the process – offering:

  • Engine design and integration assistance
  • Application engineering expertise
  • Technical and service training through the Kubota Engine Academy

Through this collaboration, OEM technicians become certified to service Kubota engines within their own networks. The result: uniform quality and reliability that reflects both Kubota’s standards and the OEM’s brand promise.

Training the trainers

Training and certification are essential to the self-service model. Through the Kubota Engine Academy, we provide a complete training structure that includes:

  • Online and hands-on instruction
  • Technician certification programs
  • “Train-the-trainer” development for OEM technical leads

By equipping OEMs to train their own teams, we ensure engine expertise stays in-house, maintaining long-term service consistency and quality for customers.

Supporting non-self-service OEMs

Not every manufacturer chooses this route, and that’s where KEA’s non-self-service OEM model comes in.

In this approach, our nationwide factory trained engine service dealers handle all engine maintenance, diagnostics and warranty support. This allows OEMs to focus on designing and building their equipment, while Kubota ensures customers receive expert factory-backed service wherever they operate.

A nationwide network of support

No matter the service model, KEA delivers dependable coverage across the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Our Find Sales & Service tool connects customers to authorized distributors, authorized engine dealers and Genuine Kubota parts.

Our mission is simple: Keep Kubota-powered machines running efficiently and reliably for years to come.

Dependable power, seamless support

Whether an OEM chooses to manage service internally or rely on Kubota’s certified network, the goal is the same – dependable power and peace of mind.

Through flexible service models, world-class training and a proven support network, Kubota Engine America empowers every OEM and every Kubota-powered machine to perform with strength, reliability and confidence.
