Kubota Kares Continuing the Momentum with Trident Robotics 4296
March 31, 2026

At Kubota Engine America, giving back to our communities is more than a value—it’s a responsibility. Through Kubota Kares, our community service initiative, we focus on creating meaningful, long-term impact where we live and work. That mission continues this year as we proudly extend our partnership with Warren Township High School’s Trident Robotics Team 4296 into the 2025–2026 school year.
This partnership, led through the Kubota Kares team, builds on a relationship that began during the 2024–2025 school year—one rooted in a shared commitment to hands-on STEM education and empowering the next generation of engineers and innovators.
Kubota Kares in Action
As part of our continued support, Kubota Engine America contributed $6,500 toward the Midwest Regional FIRST Robotics Competition, helping Trident Robotics compete at a high level alongside top teams from across the region.
Kubota Kares exists to support initiatives that inspire learning, leadership, and opportunity. FIRST Robotics embodies all three. The program challenges students to design, build, and program robots under real-world constraints—mirroring the collaborative, fast-paced environment of modern engineering. By supporting Trident Robotics through Kubota Kares, we’re investing not just in a competition season, but in students’ futures. Visit First Robotics to learn more about what they do to inspire STEM learning in young minds.
Giving Back Comes Full Circle
One of the most meaningful aspects of this partnership is how closely it connects Kubota employees to the students they support. Steven Esposito, now part of the Kubota Engine America team, is a former Trident Robotics student himself—and today, he is an active mentor for the very program that helped shape his career path. As a student, Steven gained hands-on experience designing and building robotic systems, including a compact catapult that sparked his passion for engineering. Now, he brings that experience back to the classroom, mentoring students as they tackle new design challenges and develop their technical skills.
Through Kubota Kares, Steven’s involvement represents the power of sustained community investment—where today’s students become tomorrow’s professionals and then return to guide the next generation.
More Than a Sponsorship
What makes this partnership special is that it goes beyond financial support. Through Kubota Kares, our team is actively involved—showing students what careers in engineering can look like, answering questions about real-world applications, and reinforcing the idea that their efforts today can lead to impactful futures.
By continuing our relationship with Warren Township High School into the 2025–2026 school year, we’re reaffirming our commitment to long-term community partnerships that create real change.
Looking Ahead
As Trident Robotics 4296 continues to compete, innovate, and grow, Kubota Engine America—and the Kubota Kares team—are proud to stand alongside them. Every robot built, every challenge solved, and every student inspired brings us closer to a future shaped by skilled, curious, and confident engineers.
At Kubota, we believe today’s students are tomorrow’s engineers, and through Kubota Kares, we’re committed to helping them build what’s next.
