Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) help keep our air clean, but a dirty DPF can lead to preventable downtime. Kubota Engine America is proud to offer a DPF Cleaning Program that offers a clean DPF exchange kit, so you don’t lose out on valuable work time. All that’s required from you is a little planning.

How the program works

Each kit is shipped using a specially designed “returnable” box to protect the valuable contents and to make returning your old core a no-hassle experience. Easy-to-follow instructions plus FREE freight add extra value to our no-hassle process. (Free nationwide shipping, is only offered in the U.S.) This kit includes a certified pre-cleaned DPF and all required items to complete the exchange and core return. Even the DPF gasket is included.

DPFs are cleaned by Kubota Engine America‘s certified cleaning process. Once cleaned and tested, a certificate is issued with each filter to assure you received the highest level of cleaning that meets the original air quality standards. Once it is shipped back to you, your DPF is ready to be installed on the engine right out of the box.

Kubota’s cleaning advantage

Kubota’s cleaning method follows strict guidelines to ensure each DPF meets our full certification standards. Each DPF is cleaned following a detailed multi-step inspection, pneumatic cleaning, testing, airflow check and deep thermal cleaning using state-of-the-art equipment.

Some facilities only use high pressure air to clean DPFs. The Kubota-certified cleaning process incorporates both pneumatic cleaning and follows it up with an additional high temperature bake in a specialized kiln. This extra level of deep cleaning provides maximum cleaning and best conditions for longer DPF life cycle. Some cleaning services may not have this capability or may charge extra for it.
